I'm sorry you are going through this. I wonder if your mother's reactions are more associated w her moods than really what the situation that just happened is. Does that make sense? Sometimes ppl's reactions to what they see are more bc of how they feel inside rather than what just happened.
I think you are right to take Callie to see your bf when you mother is going to be bringing her dog. You have to provide a safe environment for Callie, and if you cannot predict someone else's moods, then you have to avoid a conflict as best you can. I think it is a great idea for your grandma to let you know if your mom is coming and bringing the dog, and then you and Callie can just go visit your boyfriend or perhaps stay in your bedroom w the dog - away from your mother and Sammy. |
