Mine don't have them, the breeder apparently removed them when they were a few days old.

I had a Maltese that still had her front dew claws, and while they never were injured, they did have to be watched very carefully. They grew very tightly curved, so they had to be trimmed quite often so that they did not grow back into her skin/leg.
