Can't help on expens, as I don't use them. But just wanted to say that I also leave mine alone when I work and it can certainly be done. While it would be nice if we could all stay home all the time with our babies, many people cannot! I just doggy proofed my bedroom and they stay in there with pads, water, toys, and the bed to sleep on.
