I agree you have to reward good behaviour. Treats usually are a great way to do this. Just make sure you give very small treats. Even the smallest treats I usually cut into pieces about the size of 1/3 of my pinky fingernail.

Ozzy is getting used to bathing and brushing, but I give lots of praise and treats the whole time.
