Toenail length - question I've had 2 vets tell me that they have found no evidence that cutting a toenail back gradually will get the cuticle to withdraw. I've let Betty Boop's nails get a little too long. My vet cut the tips off only because her cuticles are long.
From everyone's experience, does it help to keep cutting them back more and more so the cuticle will withdraw?
How often would you get her nails trimmed? Every 2 weeks???
I told one vet that they seem long to me because when she jumps on the kitchen tile floor she almost slips. The dh and I are always grabbing her and taking her to the carpeted area of the den.
