Thanks! Yes, it is such a complex subject. But I often see people posting that responsible breeders health test and sort of imply that because of that they don't have any genetic problems and I just wish it were that easy. While I do believe breeders should be responsible and health test, that still does not guarantee a dog that will be totally free of any genetic illness. I wish we could guarantee that but right now it's just not possible..... in the meantime, I do wish breeders didn't feel that issues like this should be treated like a dirty little secret and instead share this info for the benefit of the all who breed.
