One forum I used to belong to had an inside joke. When ever an obvious troll would stop by, instead of saying "don't feed the troll" we would say "I need to add that to my shopping list" (as in, darn, I'm all out of troll food). We'd vary it up a bit with different twists on it, but it all meant the same thing...we weren't going to give the troll anything to keep it going. It would stop a bad thread cold nearly every time.
This little guy would work for something like that. On the other hand, the problem with calling someone a troll too soon is that the person could be on the level, just because some of us have never experienced certain things doesn't mean it could never happen. We should try and help other yorkie owners if we can, and if we suspect someone is a troll, perhaps just not answering their posts is the best solution. On the third hand, maybe the little elf would alert others not to get too worked up over the situation.
