nope that's a flawed theory. mine both sleep in our bed with us and they both are very smart, well balanced, well trained dogs. it's not a power struggle. it's all about them loving you enough to do what you ask of them and you loving them enough to teach them patiently what you desire for them to do.
you can do it! it's like having a new baby in the house, it's exhausting and hard work. my suggestion for one thing would be to get a large xpen (excersise pen) and keep the puppy in more open space while ur gone during the day so that it can run and play with more room. and as soon as pup is potty trained i for one am all for bed sharing.
just take deep breaths, relax, and enjoy puppy hood. they grow fast and it's over soon. God Bless and good luck. PM me anytime
