Ozzy sleeps in our bed and I can tell you he still knows who the pack leader is. I think the leadership role is enforced the most on walks. However, I would not have a dog sleeping on the bed EVER if I couldn't trust they could hold it all night. Ozzy is good at this, so he enjoys the comforts of the bed and his "pack" at night.
