Good job on watching the teeth - Yorkies have so many problems with their teeth. You really should let the vet remove those double canines - they are a plaque magnet!! If you could get them loose yourself with chew toys that would be great but if not your vet can pull them in a matter of minutes with light anesthesia. I like to use CET chews (do a web search) and these chews with an enzyme in them work wonders for my dogs teeth. I have a 5 year old who has never had a dental because we use these chews 2-4 times a week and they are not expensive.
