I wish yorkie nails were clear, I can trim my cats nails in 5 minutes with no issue. With Rizzo...it's bad. I trim just a teeny bit off, but I always end up hitting a quick.
I've stopped trimming Rizzo's nails because I don't want to ruin him for the vet who now trims them for $5 and I get it done once a month. In between trims I just play fetch with him in my yard, which is hard surface and actually keeps his nails pretty trim. The only nails that need a lot of upkeep are his dews. |
