These little ones need so little food; even a 15 pounder doesn't need that much food. Joey's breeder said that after the age of 4, you really need to watch it. Joey gained an extra pound after trick training class, and the vet said to reduce his kibble by 1/3 and add a few green beans to help fill him up. He lost slow and steady about 1 ounce a week, but in 4 months he was down to a healthy weight and it didn't seem to mind his weight loss diet. My problem is when I'm eating something healthy, I want to share it. Will a teaspoon of scrambled eggs really hurt and he loves it so much?
