This is so true. I worried about her for so many days and nights. Yesterday was such a heart moment. Sometimes it is the little things in life that we cherish the most. To me, getting to play ball with Lucy was such a huge gift. I hope we get to have more days like that, though if we don't, that's ok too. I do regret though that she can't hear me talk to her. I tell her all the time what a gift she is to me. Its so sad that she doesn't even know she has a name. She can't hear me say "I love you", but I hope she can feel it.
