Christine. Do not feel bad for Zoe. Give her as much attention as you can manage. Dogs are very adjustable characters. They adjust to whatever their human can give them. You are not harming her in anyway by going to work daily. She will learn to stay by herself for those hours you work. She will begin to sleep all day while you are gone. As long as you give her daily love and support...she will be fine. Millions of doggy parents work. And not that many dogs have mental problems. LOL I'm rather proud of you for reconizing your limitations. Having two dogs is a greater finanical responsibility. And frankly with Yorkshire Terriers having two is NO guarantee of peace and harmony. Many times they can develop a hatred for each other and must be kept separate.
