 My new baby-Holly
Hello everyone!
We just got our first dog! She is a 3lb. morkie named Holly. We love her already. We have had her for 3 weeks.
Background story: My daughters have been begging for a dog for some time now. I've never been an animal person but I do love my girls so I agreed to a dog provided they got a small dog that didn't shed alot. We have all already fallen in love with her! She is just the sweetest ball of energy! She chases our neighbors 30 lb. Sheltie around like she is a 100 lb dog. It is just so cute!
My husband got her at Petland. We were totally uneducated in this. I know now after reading here that is a big no-no. Does anyone have a positive story from purchasing a dog at a petstore? I'm terrified now after reading here. Please understand that we didn't set out to support puppy mills. We thought we were doing right. We love her and hope she will be OK. Thanks for any replies! |
