That's exactly it...it's whatever you are used to seeing that you then define/picture in your mind as a yorkie. My kids bought me my yorkie here in America, but I have a UK picture in my head of what a yorkie should look like, so it took some searching on their part to find one that fit the bill. My ZoE is exactly as you describe.

I've had people comment, "She's kinda large for a yorkie, isn't she? Is she a breeder?" This froze me for a minute, cos I couldn't decide if I should respond that yorkies come in a range of sizes, or whether I should be pleased that they think a larger sturdy yorkie should be bred and not the itty bitty variety.
