My dog gets diarrhea from the heartworm medication. First we used the pill form and that gave him diarrhea. Now we are on Heartgard Plus and I gave him a half to start with after he ate and yep two hours later he has diarrhea. The first time I gave him Heartguard he did not get diarrhea Does anyone have any ideas about how I should give him this medication?

Let's see how long it takes to get his tummy back to normal.
