I know exactly what you are talking about. I always get a kick out of watching the high schoolers get off the bus to see what the style is. You nailed it with that description.

I got a mom-cut at the end of the school year. By mom-cut I mean short, lol. I had hair down to about mid back with layers. IT took F-O-R-E-V-E-R to dry and style. I decided I was going short and simple. I regret it now. I went a little to short. Thanfully, vitamins have it growing back pretty good.
