I wonder if this is a publicity stunt to promote her music quickly. People who had never heard of her (me) before will hear about it now, and listen to her music or watch her video. Give it time, and the marriage will result in a divorce, but the two will "remain business partners." Money or fame are the only reasons I could imagine her parents consenting to this kind of marriage.
