We were out of town over the week-end and returned home on Tuesday. I had petsitters coming 4 times a day and they said everything was fine; they both played and ate. The petsitter fell in love with Lucy and said she was so 'spunky'.

Lucy vomited bile in the middle of the night on Tuesday night and again on Tuesday morning. She then ate her breakfast with no problem.

She was fine all day and I gave her some plain boiled chicken and rice to settle her stomach for dinner. I didn't take her for a walk. Again, she was fine all evening and all night - but she vomited bile again this morning when she went out to potty.

I gave her a little more chicken and rice for breakfast. She is eating, playing, drinking.

What could be causing this? Just the empty stomach?

Do you think she requires a vet visit at this point?

I have a little Pepcid AC that they gave her at the ER vet - remember when she licked tar off her feet and got so ill? I could give her 1/4 of one of those if anyone thinks it will help.
