Because he does like Cheerios every now and then when I eat them so I think I could get him to really like them.
How much yogurt (plain non fat) do you think would be acceptable when he's back to "normal" for the most part, if he can have this?
I filled a puppy Kong (he has one of the smallest ones, blue tie-die looking puppy one) with his RX canned food and put in the freezer tonight. Gonna ask the vet tomorrow how much is appropriate. Just looking for things for him to chew in the time being. |
These are cookies I feed to Barney - They are called Sadies Slimmers. It is the only treat I will give him and it is only because the MAX fat is listed. I will give no more than a cookie maybe 3x a week. If you're interested in these, show the ingredients to your vet to make sure he is on board. I would not rush into any snacks at all for a while - at least a month or more. I did not give Barney anything but bland diet for 3 months at the advice of my vets.
