Your post made me smile - my little Cricket would do the same thing (run to the pee pad when she had to vomit)!
My little Gidget is so loyal yet so bad - when she is watching for the husband to come home in the eve, she does not want to lose her place as first in line to greet him; soooo, she will use the "wipe your feet rug" by the door as a pee pad if she has to go while waiting.
Nothing like making more wash for mom!
