My ex-husband has sleep apnea. We know this because it would wake me up when he'd stop breathing. He uses the Cpap and it was my understanding that there are two types of sleep apnea, one where your passage way narrows & the other is your brain simply not telling you to breathe. He has both & I think the machine was his option because the surgery cannot correct the apnea due to your brain activity.

The machine didn't bother him really, but it did take a few nights to get used to it. It never bothered me at all. This is all based on my opinion & my one experience.

I hope you can find a solution that works for you, Bonny. We could both see a big change in him once he was getting restful sleep, I hope the same goes for you.
