I think they are about equal. With the right training they potty train about the same. I like that females don't lift there legs to pee. But that is my personal thing. I have a male and a female and they both are wonderful dogs. So personally I would not trade her. Who knows you may find another down the road someday. They are easy to collect and love. Good luck
