Default I know, I know another dog brand question, Please indulge me

Yes, I know, I know, how many times does this question need to be asked...please indulge me, just love my Maya so much and want to be a great mommy..

Here's my story; had her on RC but switched her to Acana pacifica...but too fishy smelly, so put her on grassland. She has been doing well these last several months but she doesn't seem to want it anymore. Thought at first she might not want to eat cause it's been hot and humid but it's rained the last few days, so that can't be the problem at this time, yet she doesn't seem to want her Acana.

I thought I would test this, so I added Canineplus Wholesome blend grainfree in her Acana this morning and she ate it all up quickly. So I'm thinking maybe she just doesn't want Acana maybe she's bored???....(also added too much of the other brand and she had very soft stool this evening). I don't want to switch to this new brand and after agonizing over my origional choice to go with Acana, I just plain lost as to what to do...

To complicate this further, the dog food analysis site indicates most of the 5 -6 star brands are high in protein and are not recommended for small dogs, yet many of our members use these brands....why have a yorkie on a high protein diet????

Then I looked at another site, see link, and they indicated that dog's should not be on dry kibble only, wet food should be added or water to their dry kibble due to hydration....what are your thoughts on this????

So, to make a short story long.....what suggestions can you give me on a new brand....and what are your thoughts of just keeping her on Acana but maybe changing the variety....and what about this wet food/water issue and the high protein,,,,

Thank's for indulging me, just wouldn't know what to do if this site and all you members weren't here for me...Thank's a million
