ok... at the risk of being piled on -- why aren't the PetSmart and in-front-of-Kroger pet adoptions targeted? Who are the people who stop at these events and adopt a dog? ...do they keep the dogs? ...or do they end up in another rescue/adoption? Don't get me wrong... I so admire the work of the foster/adoption/humane folks... but why is ok to let a dog go to whoever can sign the papers in front of PetSmart, but not to offer a dog for adoption with a starting bid of $5000? |
