I don't understand how the d-ring in front would cause more stress, but regardless, these are tiny dogs and these leashes should be tested for that. Two of mine are Flexi brand purchased at PetSmart, and the third one was a generic brand purchased at Target. You poor thing this will give you nightmares for a long time!
