We are fine thank goodness, but I am now concerned about his harness/leash. The harness is fine (I'm using the easy walk) but the clasp on the leash that attaches to the d-ring for whatever reason opened on its own.

Has anyone experienced this? Was this just a freak accident or do I have a defective leash? This is the leash that I have: PETCO Retractable Red Belt Leash for Dogs at PETCO
