We let Monkey stick his head out the window on our street too. My neighbors hate it because we creep along at about 2 mph but he loves it so much. He knows when we hit that last stop sign in our subdivision that his time has come! I have to loosen up his harness coming off of his carseat a bit to let his nose just barely break the barrier of the window but he is always thrilled with nubby wagging the whole time.
Of course, if you blow in his face to put a little fan there to give him a breeze on a hot day, he becomes an angry monster so why it is ok for the wind from a car window to go up his nose will always be one of life's unknown mysteries.
