My Mylee is similar to this except she does not have the fear of people or timid around people. She is overly social, turns the circles when anxious, has separation anxiety, barks at me when I try to leave to the point of grabbing my leg (and trying to nip), she's a runner, would not come to me, etc. My approach has been to train, train, and train. I believe she is very very intelligent and needs that mental stimulation. We have worked so hard on training, that I can see when she's thinking about what I am asking her to do, and she has come such a long way, and I am so proud of her. She catches on so fast and wants more. I believe you have to be consistent with everything you do. Consistency provides stability. At least I can see it does for Mylee. Mylee has been one of the most challenging dogs I have ever had, but I have had the most satisfaction from our progress as well. She tries so hard.
