Maxi was playing in a sandbox yesterday and apparently ate a lot of sand. Unfortunately, my husband and I had to go to a party and my parents were watching him, so I am not sure exactly how much sand he ate. My mom said that once they came inside (we live in NY and its been around 100 here lately) he was really hot and tired and took a nap when he suddenly woke up and started shaking for about 45 mins. He finally stopped and then ate dinner like normal. When got home and took him and then that evening he pooped and it was all very loose stool and sand clumps. After this he seemed really tired and went to sleep. Woke up the next morning, and he was his normal self, ate all his food and had some water. No poop yet this morning but then he got really tired again and is napping now. Is he okay? Do you think all the sand came out or might there be more? Are they usually this tired after something like this? I am so worried about him.
