butters was neutered at 6.5 months and he did just fine. The breeder recommended we get him fixed at 5.5 months but our vet told us to wait so that as many baby teeth could fall out on their own as possible. This turned out to be great advice and the vet still had to extract 3 teeth. Chances are you will need to have some baby teeth extracted and the dogs need to go under for this so it's best to do it while they're already under for the neutering. Hope that helps!
