I grew up with big dogs. Both of my parents didn't too much care for small dogs so that's all I knew. When I got my first dog on my own it was a cocker spaniel. Medium sized breed. I got a talking to from family about small dogs them but they ultimately said that small dogs work for me and my family.

I think what my family likes most about my "little yorkie" is that he's not yappy and he is inexpensive to maintain.

I've heard the Why not a real dog speech before but once they get to know Troy they quickly change their mind.
