I am having some fake grass put in the back yard for my pups and got a few 1 foot squares from the owner when he came out to price the project. I put them on top of a potty pad in the back yard. The pee barely goes thru (they are little and tiny potties right now). Seems to work well. The squares are very durable and can be hosed off easily with the yard hose or even in the bathtub. The potty pad (which is in the plastic holder I got from Amazon) is easy to just throw away. I have not had any issues with odor.
