I attach a little water bottle to the crate, (if you are using a crate and not a purse carrier)that way they can sip water as needed. Line the carrier with a peepad (in case of accidents) and it will also help keep them warm.

I use my sweater to put over the crate, or you can just ask attendant for a blanket.

I use a purse carrier, and I can place my passport wallet, keys etc in its' side pockets, along with some food for the pup. This way I'm not carrying a purse as well as a dog carrier.
