I'm looking at a front carrier for Razzle; believe it is made by outward or outbound hound.

It straps around the front of your body, and you put your doggie in it.

Has anyone used this style? Any good/bad experience with it?

We are going on vacation in three weeks, and we like to hike, I'm just a little concerned that Razz could get tired or if we get into difficult terrain, it might be a little much for him. I usually hike with a backpack as well, to carry our food, water, and first aid kit, and I wonder if I can use both? I am going shopping today to Ren's Pet Depot and will bring my backpack to test out this theory.

One question is how secure is the dog in the carrier? Like if I have to bend forward?
