Hi everyone! I am worried sick about my little Louie but I think I am just ovr reacting! Maybe you can help me out.
I got Louie about a month ago (he is 5 months)When I first got him he would just play for hours- with me without me. It took me forever to get him to calm down. I got him on a long weekend so I spend the first three whole days with him. Then I had to start going to work. At first he stayed in the play pen and was let out twice once by is dog walker (who plays with him for about 30 min) and again by my brother (who usually play with him for about an hour too). When I got home I would play with him and feed him and hang out with him till I went to bed...it took me forever to get him to just calm down he was always so excited and happy.
Now after about 3 weeks of basically being on his own a bit during the day (with dog walker tho mid day) he plays a bit when I get home and then just sleeps. One Saterday he slept ALL DAY LONG. When I am home he just follows me around and looks at me. I still play a lot with him but I have to get things done when i get home too (cook clean etc.)
So I guess I have two quiestions...is his behavior normal sleeping a lot and not playing all the time.
and are there ways to give a lot of attention to your pup AND get things done around the house. Does anyone have games they play or things they do with their pup that makes them really happy that I can try. PLEASE help i want my baby to be happy!
