Default stay don't jump!

Schatzie seems to have no fear of heights. If Im holding her on my lap sitting in a high stool for example she will want to jump right off. We have a deck extreamly high and on her leash she seems to want to jump off the deck too. Do Yorkies grow up and learn to respect heights?

Even in her doggie bed she will roll out of it while she is asleep. (luckily it's only inches that she falls out on and will never hurt herself) I would love to have her sleep in our bed when she's a year old but if she never learns to respect heights I am so afraid of her falling off the bed.

I am even afraid to teach her to use the outside deck stairs to go up and down as her clumbsiness will allow her to fall right off. (concrete below)

Im hoping this is just a puppy stage now and her agility will improve with age.

I know Yorkies are known to fear nothing but she scares me to death with her care-free attitude, she thinks she can fly !!
