 LP Sugery costs in your area??
Hi, info from another thread made me wander about this topic. I have a almost 2 yr old yorkie male. We just found out about a month ago that he has early stages of LP in his rear left leg. Vet rated it at a 2 or less on the 1-4 scale. Told me it could clear up and he have no more probs. He's on joint supplements now. But, I freaked out when I read surgery costs on the internet thinkin one day should he need it what would I do?? I couldnt afford thousands. After more talks w the vet he said it wasnt near that bad and that the surgery was around 400. Im just wandering for those whove done surgery what were the costs and what region of the country was it. I live in a smaller town and wandered is it just cheaper in regional areas or did the vet quote me a price from years ago when his mom had her yorkies legs done. Just curious as to why the extreme price quotes. |
