At least the breeder was honest,u dont get that much these days. dont give up on your puppy search. As far as the LP I just found out my guy has it in his rear left leg. The vet said they rank it on a scale of 1-4. He ranked mine between a 1-2. Said he wasnt majorly bad and it could clear up and he may never have trouble w it again. He put him on supplements and said itd be best to keep him on it if he'll stay on em. I was soo worried at first because I thought if it didnt get better and he needed surgery what would I do? I read surgery costs online and it was like 2-3 thousand. I thought id have to put him down because i couldnt fo that much. I was soo worried about the "future". But after more questions rom my vet, it wasnt as bad as I foresaw. He said the sugery was around 400 give or take. Much more doable than thousands that i read. What I would suggest would be wether you got this puppy or a different one might be to call ur vet or animal sugeon in your area and get price quotes to see what the costs would be in ur area. Because even if u get a puppy that has no problems, doesnt mean he wont eventually. But check out what things u "might ' be faced w so u can prepare for or prevent. Im thinking about doing away w these store bought treats and just giving them these supplement chews and "good stuff" that might aid in their health. Good luck in ur puppy search. |
