Whatever pup you end up with, please consider getting insurance. Thousands of dollars do need to be available for non-routine vetting.

Pups don't always end up in rescue over medical issues. We just rescued a pup. He has a couple minor issues, but should be fine. His insurance covers pre-existing issues as long as there were no symptoms before the waiting period is up, etc. So even if you get an unhealthy dog that seemed healthy at the time of purchase, there is still hope that things will be covered.

Your perfect pup will come along.
I plan on getting insurance, but I didnt think the insurance covered surgeries like LP.
