Nutri-cal- always have it, never need to use it type thing. (a small vial of karo syrup will work as well)
Some exciting treats- something you can get him to eat without much effort.
I don't worry about bringing water and just ask for a cup of water and/or ice cubes once I am on the plane.
A wee wee pad for quick bathroom break in the plane bathroom- takes some work but I am a pro at it now, LOL!
Wipes
I am actually adding a hand towel to my list now- as on my last flight the turbulence plus some other factors caused Chloe to pee all over herself and I had to wash her in the bathroom sink.
For once you arrive at your new place- bring some bedding that has not been washed, so it smells like "home"- bring some toys, make sure you have a tag on your baby with current contact info- a way people would be able to reach you in your new place.
Good Luck! I have flown a lot and moved a lot with my two- they are way more adaptive then we give them credit for- almost everything I have kept myself up at night worrying about has never happened and those that have turned out to not be such a big deal. Like barking on the airplane, crying on the airplane, peeing on themselves- lol! It all happened and everything worked out. |
Thank you! you reminded me of everything I knew was stuck in the back of my mind, lol. I read that pets aren't allowed out of their carriers on the plane, how do you get them into the bathroom without getting stopped? I am terrible at being sneaky, lol, I swear a sign goes off over my head when I'm up to no good.
