Kristy, I'm not a breeder but I think that your letter is appropriate. You were up front and telling them what your looking for, not a spur of the moment whim to buy a dog. And I also agree with you about the potty training. I know that some breeders never go to the bother of potty training just pee pad training and by 6 months it is really hard to change them, especially if you get them in the winter. I think that your letter should get better response, since you wrote to people who do advertise!...
