RIP Amy. Just because she had money and resources to get help doesn't make it any easier. An addiction is an addiction, no matter how rich nor poor. Maybe she did not have the family support or the support of friends. Often, the richest celebrities are the loneliest. They also are the ones most surrounded by enablers who will feed into their addiction simply because of who they are. You can't hold that against them. She made many mistakes in her life and obviously paid the ultimate price. |
While I do agree with you...she made a choice and some choices have very serious consequences. She chose to start drugs. She chose to continue taking drugs until she was addicted and couldn't stop. Now everyone is all feeling sorry for her. Every time I ever saw her on TV she always looked strung out. Just like Anna Nicole Smith. I mean really was anyone really surprised that she died of a drug overdose?? Not me!!
These people made a choice to take drugs and they paid the price. I don't feel bad at all.
