Unfortunately, he would never stand to be confined at a family event. Crate thing never worked out for us. He would bark for nearly 4 hours straight, no lie (if someone was home). But from now on, I'm either going to leash him up to me maybe or just keep a diligent 24/7 eye on him. Or leave him at home! lol. Sometimes having a family full of dog lovers can suck

*I* am guilty of giving him bits of my food but I think that's the difference... if I'm eating pizza, I give him a tiny piece of the crust, probably about the size of my fingernail. If I'm eating noodles, I give him one plain noodle, etc. Two Christmases ago, I saw my aunt give him a big piece of ham and was like, woah, no more! Ham and pork are some things I NEVER give him.
