Thanks, Crystal. Yes, I was fully planning on getting bloodwork for sure. I will see what they tell me. This is a very good vet in this area and has great reviews. The facility is super nice, too, so I am confident they will guide me in the right direction.

I, too, am very concerned about the foods he got. I feel so guilty because I really need to keep on my family about not giving him people food. My aunt has a Pit Bull, whom she had over there with us that day, and I think she is used to giving him such big pieces and doesn't realize how much smaller Jackson is. She is such a dog lover and I have no doubt she would have snuck him some stuff. From now on, I'm going to have to be the big pain in the butt and even-more-so overly protective dog mommy for Jackson's sake.
