Actually, now that I see the picture, I remember that this was the first time he escaped when he just opened the zipper with his paw and let himself out. We used the twist ties after that, one more time, and that's when he ripped through the mesh and wiggled out through the zipper somehow. I think he was able to squeeze out because the crate was so flexible. Did I mention that he had a cone on his head at the time because this was right after their spay/neuter?
Clearly, we don't completely trust the pens because of this, but I think they are made a bit better than these pop up crates that he escaped from. |
LOL It sure looks like he had a party!!! Wow and with a cone on, he is an escape artist! Any more time and we would have gotten Iris out
