We got exciting news this week. Lexie had LS surgery 7 weeks ago and our surgeon asked us to run BATs at 6 weeks, 3 months, and 6 months and he said he didn't really expect to see much change at the 6 week run; however, the surgery must have been a great success because her BAT number were pre and post under 20! Her pre-surgery numbers on pre and post had been close to 300, so we are so excited.
It took me a long time to come to terms with going to the next step, having surgery, but I'm so glad we did. She is doing great. We are going continue on the K/D food at this time and check her BATs in another 6 weeks.
