How did the spay go? When my dog was spayed, the vet recommended an E-collar so that she wouldn't lick at the incision site. She was also prescribed Rimadyl to manage her pain for a few days after the surgery. She was 5 months I believe at the time, and she bounced back to her normal self the next day. I was a little worried that her personality would change from the loss of her female organs and associated hormones, but it didn't. She is the best dog and is the same chipper girl she was before.
