I use just normal shampoo on Fido's face

I have Pet Silk Moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.
Its tearless (almost all, if not all, dog shampoos and conditioners are tearless), I use a little cup to pour the water on the head.
I hold the dogs head up so little water goes into the eyes
